What are the UK tint laws?

There are no laws on windows behind the b-pillar

The Front Driver and Passenger side window must allow 70% light

What is the difference between tint and privacy glass?

Privacy glass is just for privacy but window tint has many other benefits like UV protection, reflects heat, and strenghens glass

How long to window tints last?

Are chameleon tints legal?

Yes – front windscreens must allow 75% light, chameleon tint is around 84% making it legal for most windscreens

Can you tint over factory tints?

Yes – you can for added privacy and protection, but it may effect visibility at night

Yes – But uk law is very strict. front windows must allow 70% light. We offer legal tints for your front windows

Will tinted windows affect visibillity?

Slightly – While completely dark from the outside it is only slightly darker inside and wont adversely effect your vision while driving.

Can headlights be tinted?

Yes – front headlights can be tinted but they must emmit a white or yellow light

Tint is an adhesive film that is applied to the inside of the windows
