Our frequently asked Tinting questions

There are no restrictions on the back and rear passenger windows they can be tinted as dark as you like.
The front driver and passenger window must have 70% VLT visible light transmission.
The front windscreen much have 75% VLT.

We use high-quality non fading tints so they will last the lifetime of the car.
Light tint can last up to 5 years and comes with a 2 year warranty.
Chameleon comes with a 2 year warranty.
If they should for anything reason fail we will replace them free of charge.

Privacy glass is purely for privacy but tinting your windows has many other benefits like UV protection, reflects heat, and can keep the glass in place in an accident.

Yes, the legal (VLT) visual light transmitions for a front windscreen is 75% VLT, chameleon tint has around 82% VLT making it legal for most cars

Yes you can but since privacy glass is the equivalent of 20% tint we would recommend choosing lighter option so as not to make the windows too dark while driving at night.

Windows will take 3-5 days to dry. But 2-3 weeks for the adhesive glue to fully bond to the glass (cure).
